Elvenbane(Co-authored by Andre Norton) The Elvenbane is about a planet where the elves have enslaved the humans and have total dominence over all but a few peoples. Dragons, refugees from another planet, also live there, unknown to the elves or humans. Crossbreeding between humans and elves is prohibited, because the offspring almost always turn up stronger then the parents, so when the human mistress of one of the elven lords turns up pregnant, he orders her excecuted. Before she is killed, though, she escapes into the desert and is found by the dragons. She gived birth and dies, and her child is raised by the dragons. This story is about that child. 
Elvenblood(Co-authored by Andre Norton) In this book, the half elven child, Lashana, now a teenager, has managed to make the elves let her and her friends leave the elven lands and live in peace.
